Associations in Swiss Drone Ecosystem

Leading drone companies have formed the Drone Industry Association Switzerland (DIAS).
Its purpose is to unite Swiss drone companies with focus on export: Development and production of drones, drone systems, drone components, and drone services.

Other important associations in the Swiss drone ecosystem include:

• Drohnenverband(SFCD): A Swiss association for drone users interested in access to Swiss airspace. SFCD’s members include Swiss drone operators, pilots, retailers, and educators, among others.
• Swiss Aeromodelling Federation (SMV/FSAM): A Swiss association that supports more than 8,000 members in 180 aeromodelling clubs in Switzerland, involved in aeromodelling and drone sports activities such as FPV-racing.
• UAV DACH: A German-based association of 175 companies engaged in UAV research, manufacturing, and application in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.
