DIAS Member Meet-Up at Swiss Fibertec: Innovation, Insights, and Great Company

Last night, the Drone Industry Association Switzerland (DIAS) had the pleasure of another fantastic member meet-up, this time generously hosted by our member Swiss Fibertec at their impressive facility in Altendorf.

More than 15 DIAS members joined us for an evening of insights, discussion, and networking — a great reflection of the vibrant and collaborative drone ecosystem we are building together in Switzerland.

A special thank you goes to Yannis and the entire Swiss Fibertec team for being such welcoming hosts. The evening began with a fascinating introduction to the company’s work and expertise in advanced composite materials, followed by a guided tour of their facility. Seeing firsthand how such high-precision manufacturing is carried out was both impressive and highly relevant for many of our members working across the drone and aerospace sectors.

The tour sparked plenty of engaging discussions around innovation, materials engineering, and the growing role of advanced manufacturing in the drone industry. Events like these highlight the strength of the DIAS community — bringing together companies from different parts of the ecosystem to share knowledge, ideas, and opportunities.

Of course, no DIAS meet-up would be complete without time to connect informally. The evening wrapped up with lively conversations and networking over some drinks, where members continued exchanging ideas and strengthening relationships across the community.

We are incredibly grateful to Swiss Fibertec for hosting such an engaging and insightful event.
