DIAS Showcases Swiss Drone Excellence at UMEX SIMTEX 2026

The Drone Industry Association Switzerland (DIAS) proudly represented Switzerland on the global stage at UMEX SIMTEX 2026, delivering a strong and unified Swiss Pavilion that highlighted the depth, diversity, and maturity of the Swiss drone ecosystem.

From the very first day, the Pavilion was buzzing with activity, conversations, and international interest. A particular highlight was the visit of Arthur Mattli, Swiss Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, whose presence underlined the importance of Swiss innovation and international collaboration in unmanned and autonomous systems.

A Strong Swiss Line-Up

The Swiss Pavilion brought together an outstanding group of DIAS members, each showcasing world-class solutions across different segments of the drone and autonomy value chain:

  • ALPIREUM – Advanced aerial robotics solutions designed for demanding and complex environments

  • ANAVIA – High-performance unmanned helicopter systems for critical missions

  • Avientus – Scalable drone and autonomous system solutions

  • Fotokite – Global leader in tethered drone systems for public safety

  • nordfen – High-fidelity simulation and training software for UAS

  • Roze mobility – Innovative robotic and mobility solutions

Together, these companies demonstrated how Switzerland combines engineering excellence, operational reliability, and real-world deployment experience—from public safety and defence to industrial and civil applications.

Swiss Innovation Meets a Global Audience

UMEX SIMTEX is widely recognised as one of the world’s leading exhibitions for unmanned systems, robotics, and autonomy, attracting government bodies, defence and security organisations, civil protection agencies, and industrial partners from around the globe. The Swiss Pavilion stood out as a clear signal that Switzerland is not only innovating—but delivering deployable, trusted solutions at scale.

For DIAS, the Pavilion exemplified the association’s mission:
to connect industry, support international growth, shape regulation, and position Switzerland as a global drone leader.

📍 Visitors were welcomed throughout the show at Stand 09-045, where conversations ranged from operational deployments and training to simulation, autonomy, and next-generation aerial robotics.

As UMEX SIMTEX 2026 continues, DIAS looks forward to building on the strong momentum from the first days—strengthening international partnerships and showcasing why Swiss drone innovation continues to punch well above its weight on the world stage.

Thank you to all our members and partners who made the Swiss Pavilion such a success. 🇨🇭🚀
